Judges’ Comment:

“A high end scheme using beautiful materials to their best.  A challenging site, blending very old and very new, requiring a wide range of skills and bespoke furnishings. All access to the back garden through the house. Perfectly laid artificial lawn, porous resin bound detail at thresholds, green roof on bespoke outdoor wardrobes, great custom built timber work on screens and bin stores, paving and edging all excellent  and effective SUDS compliant honeycomb gravel system for parking. Hedging, tree, shrub and perennial planting resulting in an exquisite piece of work.”

Award of Merit – Private Gardens over €30,000

Judges’ Comment:

This is a very impressive piece of work on Dublin’s north side, recently completed, with great attention to detail throughout every aspect of the scheme, perfectly laid silver granite, Tobermore paving and gravel, great edging, trellis work, artificial lawn for golf practice, well established lawn, mulching and planting that will mature to provide increased privacy and balance with some of best hard landscaping we judged this year. Another example of Saxa deploying a wide range of skills including lighting, irrigation and large specimen planting.  Well done to Aaron and his team.”
